The Client

This business runs in-person sewing workshops in Hallandale Beach, Miami, for kids aged 6-12 and adults 50+, through a program built for intergenerational gatherings: spaces designed to develop patience, creativity, and motor skills. When we started working together it was a brand-new site, with no prior recorded organic traffic history.

The Challenge

  • The site had zero clicks and zero impressions recorded in Search Console during its first measurable period — total invisibility in search.
  • With no indexing history, there were no brand or local queries associated with the domain at all.
  • An in-person workshop business depends on capturing high-intent local searches ("sewing classes miami", "sewing workshop near me"), which weren’t being captured at all.

The Solution

  1. 1

    Baseline indexing and site structure

Technical work to ensure the newly launched site was crawled and indexed correctly by Google from scratch.

  2. 2

    Capturing branded and local search

Optimization of the homepage and the seniors’ workshop service page for the business’s branded queries and local ones ("sewing classes miami").

  3. 3

    Locally intent-driven content

A dedicated service page for the seniors’ workshop, aligned with real searches from people looking for workshops near them.

The absolute numbers are small, as fits a new local business running in-person workshops rather than an e-commerce operation at scale. But the story is honest and real: in its first measurable year, the site went from zero organic presence to capturing its first high-intent branded and local searches. That is the foundation you need before any content strategy can scale.
